EMERGENCY COMMUNITY SUPPORT FUND

Red Deer & District Community Foundation is proud to have partnered with Community Foundations of Canada (CFC) and the Government of Canada to deliver the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) in Central Alberta.

Launched on May 19, 2020, we’ve invested $632,089 through the ECSF since to fund local charities and qualified donees supporting populations experiencing heightened vulnerability during this crisis.

LOCAL RESPONSE

Our Foundation was among the first to reallocate unrestricted funding towards an immediate community response. Partnering with United Way of Central Alberta, we worked together to successfully and equitably address local needs in the early days of the pandemic lockdown.
