Ireland Black, is an exceptionally kind and selfless young woman who spends her time working towards her Degree in Psychology and fails to let her Posteral Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome and Grave’s disease define her as she remains a proud leader in the community. Her selflessness is a definitive part of her being, as she spends countless hours volunteering, On top of her volunteer hours, she takes great pride in her position as a lifeguard/ swim instructor at the Collicutt Center. Known for her adaptiveness, high energy & welcoming smile, she has received nothing but positive remarks from Swim Students and their Parents. But the area of the community Ireland is most dominant in is her role within the game of Basketball, as a player, coach and referee; she continues to help develop the game throughout Central Alberta with her unique understanding of the fundamentals and believe that every kid has the chance to be an MVP.

Brittany Lausen is a life-long learner and currently a Bachelor of Business Administration student at the Donald School of Business after completing the University Transfer Diploma in Elementary Education. In 2018 Brittany received the Red Deer College Outstanding Student Award, the Students’ Association Student of the Year Award, Mental Health Initiative Award, and the Laurence Decore Scholarship for Student Leadership. Brittany enjoys working with children and worked at Summer Camps for 6 years. Currently, she volunteer-tutors for Learning Disabilities Alberta. Brittany was born in Red Deer, but grew up in Calgary. She moved back to Red Deer to start school, and now lives with her husband, Erik, and dog, Sage, in Airdrie, where she commutes from each day.

Rayna Pennycook has been forging her path into Management roles since the tender age of 18. Eager to learn and ready to grow, Rayna challenged herself at age 20, to step into supervising others in the Medi-Spa field, where she worked as a laser technician. At 23, Rayna was invited to become a Medical Esthetics Instructor at DelMar College of Hair & Aesthetics, in Red Deer. Rayna is their youngest Instructor. Both students and colleagues at the College marvel at Rayna’s ability to build rapport and lead with excellence. Rayna is also creative new and exciting innovations to the current programs. She serves as an excellent role model for young women and a definite up and comer to watch for in the future.
