Brittany Lausen is a life-long learner and currently a Bachelor of Business Administration student at the Donald School of Business after completing the University Transfer Diploma in Elementary Education. In 2018 Brittany received the Red Deer College Outstanding Student Award, the Students’ Association Student of the Year Award, Mental Health Initiative Award, and the Laurence Decore Scholarship for Student Leadership. Brittany enjoys working with children and worked at Summer Camps for 6 years. Currently, she volunteer-tutors for Learning Disabilities Alberta. Brittany was born in Red Deer, but grew up in Calgary. She moved back to Red Deer to start school, and now lives with her husband, Erik, and dog, Sage, in Airdrie, where she commutes from each day.
