How to Apply
The Fall Grant Portal will be open June 1, 2023 – October 3, 2023.
Please read the SCC Grant Application Guidelines and ensure your organization and project meet the eligibility requirements.
Eligibility
Eligible organizations will be registered with Canada Revenue Agency qualified donee. In some instances, nonprofits who do not have charitable status can apply in partnership with a qualified donee. Please contact our office for more information.
Deadlines
Spring Grant Cycle: April 3
Fall Grant Cycle: October 3
If the deadline falls on a weekend, the application must be submitted by the following Monday on or before 12 noon.
Timeline
The applications are reviewed by a committee which is comprised of the RDDCF Board of Directors, as well as members of the community who make grant recommendations to the Community Foundation’s Board. This takes approximately six to eight weeks and applicants will be informed of the results following board approval.
The LOI and application must be completed through our online portal. If you are a new applicant with us, you must create a new account.
