See the Impact

With over $11 Million granted to charities in the last 31 years, the Red Deer & District Community Foundation has made tremendous impact throughout out Central Alberta.

What makes us stand out is that we, as a Foundation, dig deep to recognize all needs within Central Alberta. Some of our grants are quite small in nature, and some are much larger. We acknowledge that all grants are significant, regardless of size. For example, while $1500 may seem like a sum too small to make a large impact within a community – we see the ripple effect take place. That $1500 may be how a child can access specialized speech or occupational therapy services, which in turn gives them the skills to communicate and adapt to their surroundings as they move through adolescence and into adulthood. Due to the skills that child received because of a grant our Foundation provided to the charity supporting them, he or she will grow up to be an active, contributing citizen within our community. The ripple is endless.

We are forever committed to creating a stronger, better tomorrow.
